Here are some my mothers from the mother's group. The mother's group movement started about 10 years ago as a way to give women in the village move power and control about what happens. They raise money, pay for temple projects, and learn about health care!

This is Liz teaching her income generation class how to knit!!

Rick,

I love checking your blog and seeing what you are doing in Nepal. What an experience! Population health: it's amazing to see how small things such as the mother's group, income generation classes, and a simple literature can influence an individuals well being. Keep it up! and get the autoclave fixed!

Are you going to hook up with a Nepali? It would at least give me a good reason to come and see Nepal.

Take it easy man,

Jackson

Well I will agree that there are some very very beautiful young ladies here in Nepal. But don't worry about it. I am way to much of a comit-o-phobe to do anything in my remaining time....

And the autoclave is now fixed for the second time!!

The women in Nepal are so beautiful! I love the photo of the woman with her two children and the city in the background. Thanks for keeping your blog up to date. I love it.
